KEVE S.A. (a Clay Products Factory in North Greece) awarded to METEKO S.A. in February of 2017, the construction of the raw material shelter in Nea Santa, Kilkis- Greece. The whole project included fabrication, paintworks & erection for all steel structures of the shelter. The total area of the shelter was 12.600m2 (205.0mx61.31m). It is a single span portal frame of 60.82m span and 24.7m external height in top (18.8m free for use internal height). Portal frames were positioned every 10.0m or 8.5m. All its columns were prismatic custom I type section members with height from 0.40m up to 2.00m and done in factory special SAW dedicated Corimpex machines. Span was bridged with a truss type frame of 3.9m max height. The total weight of steel Structures was 820tn.
