A new production unit for METEKO’s subsidiary Steel Service Center S.A. is currently under construction. The project’s development takes place on a self-owned property in the Sindos Industrial Zone of Thessaloniki. The new unit will have a total covered surface of approximately 10,000 m2 and is estimated to be complete in 2022.

As an innovative production plant it will house activities including assembling, welding and coating. By increasing METEKO’s manufacturing capacity by 50% it could drive future sales and profits ahead through economies of scale and market share gains from competitive pricing.

With the completion of this project, amounting to € 6,000,000, executed with the co-financing of the Greek State, METEKO S.A. aims to consolidate its position as one of the leading steel construction companies in Greece and a very promising entity in Europe.
