Johnson Matthey, world’s biggest producer of auto catalysts awarded to Pera Constructions (a Turkish originated company) the construction of the 2nd Phase of its plant in Skopje. METEKO performed the steel construction including erection.

The construction was a very heavy industrial building. The columns were welded cross sections made out of HEA600 and most of them exceeding 16m length and 7tn weight and were constructed, transferred and erected as single pieces. The total 2100tn structure of high complexity was erected within 2 months.

In this project METEKO realized for the first time the innovating new technique of the 4d modelling and monitoring projects. This technique allows in a regular basis to monitor the progress of the project by using color coding in the 3d model generated by TEKLA structures software.
